Clinical Expertise

    • Specializes in precision radiotherapy for malignancies such as head and neck cancers (including nasopharyngeal carcinoma), central nervous system tumors, breast cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer.
    • Proficient in techniques including 3D conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT), intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT/SBRT), and image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT).

Research & Publications

    • Combination of Erlotinib and radiotherapy: Investigated the mechanism by which Erlotinib enhances the radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells, finding that it boosts the efficacy of radiotherapy by inducing G2/M cell cycle arrest (*Experimental & Therapeutic Medicine*, 2013).
    • Reversal of multidrug resistance by microRNA-125b: Examined the mechanism by which miR-125b reverses cisplatin resistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells by targeting Bcl-2 (*Molecular Medicine Reports*, 2017).
    • Combination of Cetuximab and radiotherapy: Studied the radiosensitizing and apoptosis-inducing effects of Cetuximab on nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines (*Cancer Research on Prevention and Treatment*, 2011).
    • IGFBP5 and carbon-ion radiotherapy sensitivity: Research on proteins associated with the efficacy of carbon-ion radiotherapy for prostate cancer revealed that high IGFBP5 expression may serve as a predictor of favorable treatment outcomes (Report at the 2019 PTCOG Annual Conference).
