Prof. Chaosu Hu, MD, PhD

Professor Hu Chaosu is a renowned expert in radiation oncology in China and currently serves as Honorary Director of the Radiation Oncology Center at the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. He holds an M.D. degree and serves as a chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor.

Professor Hu has dedicated decades to the field of radiation oncology, with a particular focus on precision radiotherapy and comprehensive treatment for head and neck cancers—most notably nasopharyngeal, laryngeal, and oral cavity cancers. He possesses profound expertise in the integration of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), targeted therapy, and immunotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma; the team he leads stands at the international forefront of diagnosis and treatment for this disease. Furthermore, he possesses extensive clinical experience in the management of central nervous system tumors and the application of proton and heavy-ion radiotherapy.
