Overview

He received his doctoral degree in July 1996, becoming the first Gamma Knife specialist in China. From August 2000 to August 2001, he pursued advanced studies at the Institute of Neurology, University College London, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, under the tutelage of Professor David Thomas, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and Vice President of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. He was promoted to Chief Physician in 2006. From October to December 2015, he furthered his studies in CyberKnife technology at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been engaged in Gamma Knife treatment since 1993, possessing extensive experience in treating pituitary adenomas, acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, arteriovenous malformations, pineal region tumors, brain metastases, and cavernous sinus hemangiomas. After Huashan Hospital introduced CyberKnife in December 2007, he was responsible for CyberKnife treatment, treating over 12,000 patients in nine years. We have accumulated rich experience in treating tumors such as meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, brain metastases, pituitary adenomas, trigeminal schwannomas, gliomas, chordomas, jugular foramen tumors, craniopharyngiomas, as well as small or medium-sized peripheral lung cancers, lung metastases, small hepatocellular carcinomas, spinal metastases, retroperitoneal metastases, pancreatic cancer, and prostate cancer using CyberKnife.
