Hong Changjiang graduated from the First Military Medical University, where he studied under the renowned cardiovascular specialist Professor Qian Xuexian. He has served in the Department of Cardiology at Zhujiang Hospital (affiliated with the First Military Medical University) and Guangzhou General Hospital of the Guangzhou Military Region. Additionally, he completed advanced training in cardiovascular interventional procedures at Zhongshan Hospital (Fudan University) and the Texas Heart Institute in the United States.
He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, various forms of heart failure, and critical cardiovascular illnesses. He possesses extensive experience in interventional treatments for coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and congenital heart disease, with particular expertise in managing complex and challenging coronary lesions—having handled over 5,000 cases. He is also one of the first certified national instructors for coronary intervention training.
