As a pilot hospital for high-quality public hospital development in Fujian, it has become one of the province’s elite Grade III-A general hospitals. It is China’s first large general hospital to achieve “dual” top-level certifications: HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7 (inpatient and outpatient/emergency) and JCI Academic Medical Center accreditation. For seven consecutive years, it has earned an A+ rating in national performance assessments, placing it in the top 10% nationwide and among China’s top 100 hospitals, while ranking first in Xiamen.

  • Performed the world's first life-saving liver transplant for Bongkrekic acid poisoning and the world's first quadruple combination therapy with iodine-125 particle stents.
